Training for the future

The PIA runs a large range of training programs for the industry and these are coordinated by our Training Manager Crystal Balazs.

These courses are prepared and run by industry experts and have enormous takeaway value to participants. Many are run from our training facility in Keswick.

Interactive Online Training

In 2008 the PIA will be providing members and visitors to a range of new online interactive training programs which will provide high quality video based training on a range of important safety and training issues. These programs will kick off with some modules on the safe use of Scissor and Trailerlifts. As many plumbers have to use Elevated Work Platforms, we have been provided access to the programs by the EWPA which is the peak training body for the EWP industry.

There are over 100,000 holders of Yellow Cards throughout Australia and these two training programs will help you work more safely with these common EWP's.
