Payment & Refund Policy

Payment for training services is to be made in advance under the following conditions:

Invoice for payment is issued at the time of initial confirmation by PIA.
Formal confirmation of place within course only made when full payment has been received.
Priority for a place within courses will be given to those who have made full payment.
Payment may be made by cheque, credit card, electronic funds transfer and/or direct debit arrangements.
An administration fee of $5.00 will be charged for a replacement parchment.
PIA will negotiate a suitable discount for 5 or more participants into a particular course.

Refund Policy

All enrolments for training programs conducted by PIA are required to be paid for in advance. A formal acknowledgement of enrolment will be issued to the participant prior tocommencement

Course participants are entitled to:

Nominate a substitute to the course OR
Defer participation to the next/same course on one occasion only where due notice (14 days) has been given.

PIA will provide a formal acknowledgement and receipt of payment to the participant prior to the course.
PIA will provide a full refund if the course is cancelled by PIA.
PIA will make every effort to reschedule cancessed courses as soon as practicable.

NO SHOW" FEES WILL APPLY

Failure to notify of non attendance (No-Show) will result in the full fee being charged.

Cancellations may be made up to 14 days prior to the course. A full refund will be made where cancellations are notified 14 days prior to the course (only where a replacement can be found).
Cancellations made less than 7 days prior will attract a fee of 75% fee of the full course cost (CITB Subsidy + PIA Non Member fee).
Failure to notify of non attendance (no-show) will result in the full fee being charged (CITB Subsidy + PIA Non Member fee).
Exceptional circumstances will be considered for refund. However participants may be required to provide proof to support claims of exceptional circumstance.
PIA accepts no more than $500 from each individual student prior to the commencement of the course. Following course commencement, the PIA may require payment of additional fees in advance from the student but only such that at any given time, the total amount required to be paid which is attributable to costs yet to be incurred on behalf of the student for tuition or other services yet to be delivered to the student, does not exceed $1,000.
