Steps to becoming a Licenced Plumber
1. Apprenticeship Registration
- To register as an Apprentice with OCBA. (NO FEES)
- Complete application form, photo, and copy of Confirmation of Contract of Training.
- Your licence card will be posted in a few weeks.
2. After Qualification to apply for a Restricted Registration
- Complete a form entitled “Varying conditions on existing Licence”
- Application fee
- Provide confirmation of Contract of Training Letter (specifies the terms of your contract of training) from the Traineeship and Apprenticeship Management Branch (TAM)
- Supply certified copies of your qualifications (BCP03) or (CPC08)
Certificate III in Plumbing or Certificate III in Gas Fitting from a RTO - And an academic statement of plumbing streams Water, Drainage, Sanitary, Gas Fitting.
3. In Addition to above qualifications to apply for an Unrestricted Registration
- Provide a Certified Copy of Statement of Attainment of following competencies;
